Hi All,

So this is what I came up with and yes its for sale. Ill call it the Punchulu but Ill take suggestions as to what to name it. For you Lawyers or just those with strong opinions. I believe that this design gets around the double edge ban on knives in some places. The blade shape has no point its an arch. In terms of knives by definition an arch has only one side. Chime in this might get interesting.

The specifics:

Metal: 1/4 inch 1095 RC 59 or 60 with a mirror finish VERY sharp
Size: 2 inches by 2.5 inches aprox. Feels really solid in the hand.
Handle: Gabon Black Ebony with 2 Brass pins. Legally harvested.
Sheath: Black Kydex included.
Price: $50.00 including the sheath shipped to the lower 48.
As always comments are appreciated.

For those that carry these type of knives. Think about how this will work. It makes no difference how you hit someone with this. Regardless of the strike angle it will still cut......think about it.

Thanks for looking , Ken

That is nasty. I like it.

You are CORRECT that it would not be considered a double-edge dagger. "But, Your Honor . . . this knife is obviously designed for food preparation . . . I use it to mince scallions and shallots and was on my way to a barbeque when that ruffian did unlawfully assault me!" If you live in NY, NH, or VT you can even use it to clear your windshield after one of those Winter storms when your entire car is sheathed in a 1/4" layer of ice.

Here's a name for you: how about ACE OF SPADES . . . that was actually used in the early 80s for a similar fiberglass push dagger, but I don't think it was patented or copyrighted. Of course, Punchulu is good too.
