Purchased gold membership for a friend, not able to change user group

I purchased a gold memebership for a friend on Friday May 6th and they are still not able to change their user group to gold. I paid using paypal and the money has been taken from my account.

Any help would be greatly appreciated.

It can take Spark 2 or 3 days to activate it. PayPal purchases have to be put through manually.

Dont mean to hijack the thread but when you purchase the membership through Paypal, do you receive notification that your membership has been activated?

Yeah when you purchase through paypal, you'll know your membership is active when the ads disappear
