Hello,

excuse the caps, i have a sight issue. I just purchased a strider folder clone, what i need is some info on the pivot screw size, i have heard the real pivot screw is a different size. I would have loved to have purchased the real deal but having lost both my legs and the sight in one eye i cannot afford a real one. I have written to the company in china and don't hold much hope of getting a reply... Any suggestions would be appreciated. I need to loosen the pivot, it is kinda tight. Thanks in advance for any help.

Regards,
mike stewart

Based on some youtube videos, it seems like you should be able to loosen the pivot screw by using a Hex or Torx bit that fits the opposite side of the pivot. Worth mentioning that the tension on the pivot is mostly controlled by the first body screw mostly (the one closest to the pivot).

Its not an odd size its the more precise "metric system" the rest of the planet uses, its 3 mm hex/allen key, and just use a flat head screwdriver on the other side, if you don't have the hex then wrap a nail in paper and jam it in and turn the other side with the screwdriver it wont hurt it.
