I recently got into ZT's after owning primarily Benchmades, Spydercos and a trusty Hinderer. This is one of the most well put together knives I've ever handled at the price point. Love the blade shape and the action is incredible.

If you care about weight then yes, it's probably not the knife for you at 6.3 oz and 3.25 blade length. Weight is not an issue for me. The difference between a Manix 2 LW and the 6.3 oz 0456 in the pocket is negligible in my eyes, but I understand weight is an important factor for many.

Also, for anyone who is of the opinion that ZT is steering away from their "overbuilt" mantra, go handle some of these 2016 models. 0456 is a beast, 0095 is rock solid as well as the 0220. And I think the 0909 specs speak for themselves...monster. Just because they look pretty doesn't mean they aren't built to withstand a beating.

As much as I love the aesthetics of the 0095, I think I'm gonna have to go for the 0909 next. I won't feel near as bad beating on the 0909 as I will the Sinkevich.

0909 owners, I'd love to hear your your thoughts on this piece.

No clue how to post pictures but if someone wants to post a link to instructions I'll be happy to throw up some pictures of the 0456.

WOW those are big pics! I had to stand up and walk across the room to view them! haha

Congratulations, Nails - great knife! It is a little different than the other Sinkevich designs from ZT, great looking knife!

I have a 909 I picked up from Kershawguy - it is a big knife, rides well in the pocket and has the old-school hex nut pivot that I like on the ZTs.

The blade is nice and beefy on the 909 too - it should cut anything a person wants to cut!

best

ZT 0456 is a beautiful and smooth tank of a small folder. Great action, premium steel, utilitarian blade shape, contoured titanium milling and blue accents. Personally, too heavy to carry every day at 6.34 ounces. Manix2 LW weighs just 3.00 ounces so that's a big difference for a similarly sized folder.

ZT 0456 with Blue Anodized Aluminum Hardware and ZT 10th Anniversary Blue Anodized Aluminum Pen!
