Some time ago Des Horn (who is a member of the South African, American, Italian and German guilds) made a series of Damasteel linerlock folders for Purdey. Those who know Des’s work will appreciate that they were superb knives, built to a standard and level of individual craftsmanship befitting of the name “Purdey”. Those clients fortunate enough to have purchased examples from Des’s series are in possession of a product which is truly unique and might never be repeated again.
