The differences will be in the handle pins (flared copper vs 3/8" hollow tubes), and sheath (strap and snap pancake sheath vs pouch type)

I do love the sedge though. Really like the pictures from the XD but a little worried about weight at that thickness. Really need some side by side photos and stats to compare!

Hi Wade -

The XM is 3/16", and there is a smaller version in the works as well -

The one pictured here is the medium sized one, and I am sure John would make this knife in any thickness a customer wishes, the swedge may be harder on the thinner stocks (I'll let John speak to that...)

The vacation was awesome - We drove to New Orleans and stayed in the French Quarter for a few days, partying and eating excellent foods.

Then we drove up to the Jack Daniels Distillery for the 25th Annual Jack Daniels Invitational BBQ, and partied and ate excellent foods for a few days.

I also was privileged to sample several vintage bottles of Jack Daniels, many of them well over 30 years old and very collectible, with my Tennessee Squire friends.

You've heard me say this already - IT'S ON MY VERY SHORT LIST!. I like everything about this knife (as far as I can tell from the photos and the specs :roll eyes. I wonder if it balances to be a good throwing knife? Sure is perty!
