Look at this big hunk of pure sexy that arrived in the mail last night.





The boy and I start making stuff on it this weekend soon as we get a base made up. I have to say I really am as excited as he is.

The face is painted, should I wire brush that paint off first or leave it on?
 
Glad I wasn't you mailman. That looks kinda heavy. I would sand the using surfaces clean so as not to get paint on my work.
 
Nice anvil.

Just an FYI, but if you don't want smirks and grins when you tell other smiths about your anvil, it might be best to call it by the right name ... cavalry ... not calvary. They are very different words.
