Hey there everybody! I have another pure skinner up today. But if you just HAVE to cut string, tape or boxes that’s OK too….. I guess ;). Hope you like it!

Steel is 1/8” x 1 1/2” in 80CRV2 with Paul Bos HT at 60/61. Hand sanded to 1200 grit for a fine satin finish. The edge was under .010” before sharpening and it balances at the back of the bolsters.

Dimensions: 7 7/8” OAL, Tip to Scales 3 1/2”

Brass bolsters and leopardwood are polished to 1500 grit and buffed. Accented by blue G10 liners. It’s very shiny! Features mosaic pins and a composite lanyard tube. The handle feels great in my average sized hand (left and right) and it comes oiled and waxed.

Price is $OLD to your US door, and of course your satisfaction is my only priority. Paypal, check or MO, and the price includes fees and free shipping in the US.

Thanks so much for looking and please feel free to ask anything here or via PM.

I absolutely love this pattern. It’s one of my top 5 that I’ve seen sold here by makers. Great job. If the spirit should ever move the maker, bolsterless, linerless burl handles and brass hardware would sure be a sight to behold.

Thanks for the kind compliments guys, appreciated. Funny thing is with EngrSorenson EngrSorenson 's comment I went into this build thinking there's not enough bolstered knives on these pages. You just don't see them much. I was going to mention it in the sales text but it was getting wordy already. Growing up it seemed like most knives had either metal bolsters or single guards (70's, 80's etc,) Why do you think that is? Granted it takes way more time, and adds an ounce or two but to my mind they look pretty knice.

Definitely looks nice, and makes it look a little like a traditional pocket knife, which I think is fun. I appreciate the effort it takes to make them, and I also recall seeing bolsters on fixed blades, though I’m a rather young guy to remember them. I think you hit the proportions right and it’s aesthetically pleasing with the size and shape of the bolster, and that’s coming from a guy who’s not really into that style of bolster on a fixed blade.

Seeing that blade shape though and the subtle lines in the handle profile just screams “highly figured burl” to me. It’s a beautiful blade shape, and thin enough to be utilitarian. There’s a lot of great stuff I can say about this knife, but the lines are fantastic and make it stand out.

That’s some fine work, sir.

Fantastic knife, and a bargain at that price. It will find his home very soon.Very few makers can rise to your level of quality, especially in a small package.
