Purple! Because Ice cream has no bones!

Thank you for not objecting. I think he would fit in this group really well. I have another of his smaller damascus edc/hunters and a damascus scalpel that gets used way too much.
Yeah, I need regular minor surgeries for splinters and such.

You guys are always welcome to post or talk about anyone's work anywhere in this subforum. I don't mind at all, I welcome it:thumbsup:

Say no more! Just add mini Vulcan!
Here you go!

Finally found a worthy filet knife! :D This is inbound, should hopefully be here Saturday. 52100 @ ~59 Rc, 8" cutting edge, harpoon tip, nice distal taper. Cocobolo handle. G.L. Drew here on BF is the maker. Very similar to what I had in mind when I asked John to make me a filet knife awhile back, that he respectfully declined.

Mack, I am disappointed you didn't tell me about this Bocote/52100 one last month... o_O (Not really, but you liked the sales post, and I'm bummed I missed it. :p) It speaks to me more than the one I bought, but unfortunately it sold recently. :( Guess it wasn't meant to be. Love the Bocote and red spacers here!

Sorry, I wanted it and was trying to justify buying it. I have one of his bird and trout knives and absolutely love it.

...and if you don't like it for any reason, please let me know. I know a guy that needs one.;)

Thanks guys! I'm sure I'll love it (and I'll keep you in mind Mack if I decide to part with it for any reason).

He said he's unfortunately become allergic to the Cocobolo (pretty common with Rosewoods in general), and this is the last time he's working with it, so there's that. With this being an 8", I'd still kind of like to get a smaller 6" at some point, so I'll be watching his offerings closely from now on. Can't wait to get it in-hand! :)
