I'm a part-time knifemaker and wood hoarder. I source a majority of my wood from Northern Wisconsin, but also get some imported. I've been selling stabilized and natural blocks at local knife shows and occasionally on the forums, but recently opened a web store. I try to keep my prices as low as possible, and I offer different grades of wood, from Mahogany up to high-end burls. I believe that not every knife needs a drop-dead gorgeous handle, but every knife deserves a durable handle. My blocks start as low as $10, and any US order over $20 gets free shipping. Please check out my website, and please sign up for my newsletter. I'll be giving some stuff away through the newsletter, and offering special discounts for newsletter subscribers.

I just added some blocks of natural purple heart, and I'll be adding some natural blocks of curly maple and birds-eye maple soon. I have several blocks of spalted birch burl, highly figured Bubinga and maple burl. My stabilizing is done by WSSI. If you have any questions, or have a specific request for wood or size, please let me know.

I would also appreciate any feedback on the website.

Morning J Hoffman!

Love the look of the website. Very simple and easy to nagivate.

I'm wondering about the woods of the 3rd and 5th photo in this entry?

The third is Apple and the fifth is Curly Cherry. I believe both pieces have sold since I posted this. I got 50 pounds of stabilized wood in yesterday, and I'm slowly adding it to the site. I'm adding some very nicely figured Bubinga, some spalted birch burl and others.

Thanks for the feedback on the site!
Jess

I like the site. Very easy to navigate and you have some nice materials on there at fair prices. I really like that Ringed Gidgee on there. I just loaded up on handle materials for a while but are you planning on having more of that in the future?

I do have some more Ringed Gidgee. I believe it's going in the next batch to WSSI.
