Purpleheart Tanto (Sold)

This is the first Tanto I’ve done in a few years. The blade was forged from W2 and differentially heat treated and as you can see in the attached pictures it produced a nice harmon. The blade is hair popping sharp and ready to for a new home.

Habaki – Copper
Tsuba – Wrought Iron
Fuchi – Copper
Handle – African Blackwood
Saya – Purpleheart and African Blackwood
Mekugi – Copper Pin

Knife dimensions:
Overall length – 15 inches
Blade length – 8 7/8 inches
Blade width – 1 inch
Handle length – 5 3/8 inches
