  • Today marks the 24th anniversary of 9/11. I pray that this nation does not forget the loss of lives from this horrible event. Yesterday conservative commentator Charlie Kirk was murdered, and I worry about what is to come. Please love one another and your family in these trying times - Spark

Purpose of modern swords

Hook, you say?:D:thumbup:

I use a two-handed scimitar as a machete. It works great. It's very tough with a full profile tang. I've made several paths with it. I really just love walking around in the woods making trails.

My house is far back in the trees, so I can carry anything I want. It's fun to strap on my cutlass and walk the paths.

Swords are symbolic, but I like mine to be true working weapons. I won't use stainless steel and I want the handles to be rock solid. I really prefer a full profile tang, with scales. That's how my scimitar is made.

I wish Ontario still made their Swors of Blackwind. Both my son and myself have an Ontario Bengal. That is the best short machete I've ever had.
