Any of you fine people know how to set a Purse Game Net? I remember seeing them in Brigade Quartermasters twenty-odd years ago and always meant to pick one up.

I can now find them on some British websites, I could not find any a couple years ago...

Do you also know a source for them here?
 
I'd say you'll probably have to make them here unless you want to order the UK where Ferreting is more popular. I've seen lots of "how to's" on the making of them on the net. Is that what you're going to use them for (not ferreting, just hunting/trapping)?

If you're not going to work a ferret with them you may well do better with a long net and spooking them up with a dog or something. That has an additional benefit of probably allowing you to press some other kind of net into service. Making purse nets is fun when you do them one at a time. Making a sackful aint.
