Push Dagger

Are 'C' ground knifes good for slashing? I havn't tested mines for its slashing abilities but I am curious. The safe makers are the only knifes I've seen this type of edge on to be honest.

They slash very well, only differently, they tend to draw a curve into the medium. They excell in thrusting. Think 'wound channel'.

This grind has been around for quite some time, I can remember from the top of my head at least a couple of knifemakers using it (not only in pushdaggers, but in straight daggers as well), Paul "Burn" Panak is one of them. Here in Brazil it is quite common in defensive hardware.
