Put a couple nicks in my RC6

What several have said - a lot of fake flowers (especially the better made ones like you find at Michael's or hobby Lobby) have a piece of spring tempered steel wire inside -- i nicked the edge on a cheap pair of lineman's pliers trimming some once.

Yep, yall are right.. check this out...

4 wires!!

The wire they use in flowers is very hard wire too.I have chipped wire cutters on some of it.Cheap wire cutters.

Knife held up pretty good. Always check what your cutting if you want to keep a nice edge

Yeah, its a dang good thing I didnt try to chop through the stems. I'm suprised it didnt bust up my leatherman even a little bit.

i broke my henkle kitchen scissors trying to cut through some fake flowers before. those flowers are suprisingly tough.

I bet that over on the fake flower forums they're all bragging about how tough their stems are, damaging tough suvival knife edges and such.

I'd say the knife did great considering how much wire it went through!

yes but again "proper tool for the job" side cutters/dikes ,linesman pliers or something with a cutting edge.
LOL spend a bit a time with a stone and the nicks will be gone....

Very true! I don't think I'd EVER take a knife to wire if I could help it! Out comes the multi-tool...:)

You think that's bad? I came home a couple of days ago to see my wife had thrown my Fiddleback forge Nessmuk in the strainer with a bunch of forks and stuff. I pulled it out hoping the edge wasn't dinged up and saw a huge flat spot on it. Apparently she used it to cut up some baking chocolate directly on our granite counter tops. Needless to say I was very upset and sharpened as much out as I could but it will take a few sharpenings before it's completely gone.

She can't use my Fiddleback anymore!

lol that sucks bro

Yeah the close-ups do make the wires look a bit bigger than they really are, but actually they were pretty stout.

i was just going to say...those wires look huge! Maybe you should have chopped them so they really know whos boss :P
