Just a quick note from the Northern Kuwaiti desert to let you know I am putting the Brend to work out here. Not as much to do with a SPIKE as I would have hoped, but the cutting edge is good for choppin up pallets, cutting open MREs and MRE boxes, cutting cable, and a multitude of other tasks that a knife could probably handle but a hatchet looks so much cooler doing!
If you are headed this way soon, bring with you a hatchet or tomahawk with a hammerback as the hammer is more useful (at least here at my camp it would be-putting in tent stakes, pounding in engineer stakes, marking off sites with poles, and other "hammer" work...)
More later
