Putting a Convex edge on my NMSFNO

Are you kidding me? My northern yankee blood can't handle this Georgia heat. If I tried to have a chopoff in this weather, I'd pass out faster than a sorority freshman her first night trying Jagermeister.

I'm waiting for a sub-90-degree weekend before I get some more chopping done!

The Secret Test Team Pictures will be ready by the time that happens. If an overweight old man can do it down here in South Georgia where it's really got, even a yankee can handle Atlanta! Just drink plenty of water and get to chopping. You know you want to, MM. :D

looks great. i see you didn't have the same problem of rounding tips that a few of us have had . . . .

This can be prevented by stopping your pass when the tip is in the middle of the belt.

The "screwdriver tip" as we call them in the shop, occurs when the tip comes off of the edge of the belt at the end of your pass. Stop your pass when your tip is in the middle of the belt and pull off of the belt. . . Ta da. . . Perfect tip!!!!

Good luck!!!

Jerry :D

Great tip - I've done something pretty similar, avoiding sliding the tip off the edge of the belt, but kept it more towards one edge when pulling away. I'll try it dead-center and see if my results are more consistent. Thanks boss!
