OK, I've got this idea. I really like the looks of the "Survivorman" logo. I have a SS handled knife that I want to put the logo on and I'm "thinking" of using a Dremel to grind the design in. Questions:
1) Any special bit I would need to grind into SS?
2) Has anyone used a drill press to do something similar?
3) What would be a good way to transfer the design to the handle to do the work?

Since I will not be selling the knife, it would be for my own personal use, I don't think I'm stepping on anyone's copyright toes.

What kind of stainless ? Makers usually electro-etch logos into stainless .Soft stainless can be engraved.

Practice on some scrap metal first. I don't think you'll find much difference between one steel and another.
