Putting a lot of work into my beat up NMFBM. *crosses fingers*

I must add my vote in agreement.

AFAIK, I pioneered the term "ghetto satin" on this forum, with the intent to self-deprecatingly describe my own meager efforts.

You, sir, have advanced well beyond anything resembling that moniker, and I therefore am forced to issue a cease and desist order. You may not use my Trademarked phrase any more in connection to your own exemplary work.

Since Horndog has his "third world grind shop", can I be "fourth world"?

Paint stripper. Then ground off the dark undercoat, then ground out all the INFI dimples, then satin finished.

One of the best stripping/shaping jobs I've seen:thumbup::thumbup::thumbup::thumbup::thumbup:

I'm sure it would be worth a pretty penny more than you paid.
Gabriel.

Wow, looks like a brand new blade. I would have loved to seen the "before" and after pics. Now; the question is.. is the process going to start all over again? :)

This is the last time the blade was seen on camera... but it saw probably 15 hours of hard use after the video was made. The coating was VERY bad and completely gone at the tip.

The knife isn't "brand new" yet, still have detail work to do then work on the edge, I will probably be done this weekend, atleast I hope so as I'm having a big fire and its crying for an NMFBM. It'll get beaten again, but no more throwing.
