putting it to work

Is that one of his WWII models, HD? I just got one of them, too, but it hasn't had a workout yet.
 
I finally figured out what I found strange about that pic. Wouldn't it be easier to cut through with widening the cut about 1/2 again as wide as it is now or maybe more?:confused:
I've generally found it too be so anyway as too narrow a cut binds the blade whether it be axe or khukuri or big straight knife like a Busse Battle Mistress.
