For your consideration a rhombic grind puukko, the last puuko that I am going make..................for this month
. The steel is 1.2519, chemically closer to Hitachi Blue 2. Also it might be compared to 52100 with tungsten, making it finer grained and wear resistant(it's not stainless). Blade finish is P800. Tang is peened over the rear bolster. The handle is made out of uniqueally coloured stabilised American maple, with amazing holographic effect.This knife has a colored cow leather sheath with wooden inlay.
Blade Steel :1.2519(similar to Hitachi Blue 2).
Overall Length: 205 mm(8.07”)
Cutting edge: 103 mm(4.06”)
Thickness: 5 mm(0.196”), /2mm(0.078") at spine/
Width: 23.5 mm(0.93”)
Handle: Brass, stabilized American maple.
