Communicated at every stage. Completed in a few days. Mailed from Finland October 29th - very securely packaged. Arrived today so under two weeks to make the trip.

Nice work by Antti Mäkinen. He has taken over the shop established by his uncle, Yrjo Puronvarsi (http://www.rtbot.net/play.php?id=G_SMCCmBmZw) , and is keeping up the high standards (yp-taonta.fi)

All made in that shop, including 100mm (4") forged blade. Diamond (rhombic) cross section.

By the way Antti, when I was talking with him about, referred to Puronvarsi as his grandfather.
He usually forges Sten&Co "leuku" steel, like saying 1075, and heat treats by the eye and experience looking at steels colours: no ovens etc.
