The blade is a high carbon from Steen Neilsen (sp?). I do not remember who mounted it. It is a dyed curly birch with waterbuffalo horn and brass. The sheath is stunning rawhide work. The blade has a few tiny staining spots (I see 2 on the flat on one side and 2 on the edge bevel on the other). It also has a scratch from the maker on the corner of the spine. They did not show well in the pics.
OAL is 7 3/8 in and the blade is 2 5/8 inches. A really nice piece.
