Pics were taken prior to placing my mark on the blade, the blade does have my mark now.

Here is a puukko style knife that was made from 52100 flat stock. The profile was hand forged with the bevels ground stock removal. The tang runs the length of the knife and is peened to form a rivet. Heat treat was two normalizing cycles followed by two quench cycle and three 2 hour temper cycles. The blade was allowed to cool overnight between quenches. It has a fine polished convex edge that is shaving sharp. Here are the specs:

AOL- 8 inches
Grind- Flat
Finish- Hand sanded to 1000 grit
Blade- 3 1/2 inches
Handle- 4 1/2 inches

Thanks for comments everyone, now this one needs a hip to dangle from, Solid little knife with good heft and strength, plenty big enough for skinning medium size game.
Good to hear from you Jack, your comment is much appreciated.
