Hi, another puukko is for sale. This is my version of maasepän puukko, very simple and classic old style puukko.

Handle (4.52") is nice black locust burl, very hard and durable.
Sheath is natural leather, with wooden inlay and back seam, impregnated with beeswax.

Price is 170USD,shipped with tracking number.
If you have any questions, feel free to PM/e-mail me: danije.haramina@gmail.com

You guys are crazy for not picking this up. I'm not sure if you've seen what traditional Finnish maasepän puukko are like, but the tang is basically heat-fitted into the handle. Dan actually pins and glues the tang. I don't know of other puukko made with both a pin and a hidden tang. And his handles are incredibly comfortable. I sold a few of his knives because I had too many puukko and too little space, but I would never part with my Malanika maasepän puukko. In fact, I might buy this just on principle alone.

I saw this one this morning and have been trying to resist all day. Had I not just bought a house this week and been saving for all the cost associated with that, I would have been all over this. I really love this style with no fittings.
If another pops up in a month or three you guys will have to be much quicker.

Please keep making awesome puukko, yours are fantastic!

I agree - keep making these and one of these times my finances will coincide with availability! They look fantastic.

I'm sorry I was late to the draw on this one! I love the simplicity to it. It adds to its beauty in my opinion. Nice work!
