Here's a Puukko forged from 3/16" 52100. Blade is 4". It's 3/16" just in front of the handle, then tapers. Hand sanded to 400 grit. The ferrule is iron from a wagon wheel rim that I found in the creek while fishing. Handle is 4 3/8" with stabilized cherry. I applied vinegar to achieve the finish. Finish runs deep and doesn't wear. I then put a couple of coats of oil on top of that to seal it in. Found enough leather to make a traditional sheath. Price updated.
