Hi, new puukko is for sale.
This is very simple and classic old style puukko.
80crv2 blade has 3.54" cutting edge , thickness 0.125"
and width 0.86".

Handle (4.37") is black locust burl,very hard and durable.
Sheath is natural leather, with wooden inlay and back seam, impregnated with beeswax.

Price is 140USD ,shipped with tracking number.

Looks like a perfect knife to actually use. Someone will be very happy and others will kick themselves for not checking this morning...
 
I love mine. Malanika's "simple" puukko are by far the best. I would pick this up on principle alone but simply don't have room...

Some of them are not so simple, either, having embellishments that you only see on much higher priced knives. But this one is the most spartan I've seen, for sure. I'm glad I jumped in when I did. I bought one as a gift for a friend earlier in the year and once I handled it, I knew I had to have one for myself. His is more elaborate, though.

Been watching these come and go (fast!). I need to save up! Seriously, these are great looking knives. This one is actually my favorite so far - great steel choice, simple, clean design and execution. I actually prefer less ornate, particularly if ornate means metal on handles. Metal handles are a no-go for me in winter. Keep making them! One of these days I'll have the funds and see it first :)
