The wood is from a customer in Sweden, the design is Finnish, the steel is Japanese and the maker is an American. Is this a world market or what?

1/8 inch ATS34
Flat grind
Hand sanded to 400 grit
Birch root burl handle
Overall length: 9 inches
Blade: 4 3/8 inches
Riveted leather scabbard

Looks real nice! Good to see the sheath is like the original, a deep leather friction sheath.
Though I am a bit "offended" as a Finn to see the term "puukko" used for something without a scandi grind. :D

Oops, didn't think a real Finn would look at this one. I apologize for not being more authentic but what can you expect from a knifemaker with an Eastern European heritage.
 
Mukava! Very decent looking sheath there too,the pouch sheath is an outstandingly simple,elegant and ergonomic design. Good work all round!
