Hi friends,I just finished those two puukkos...
Blades - 52100 steel, rhombic cross section and distal taper.
Handles- brass, stabilized buckeye by sina and coffee bag micarta by shadetree.
Sheaths are traditional with wooden inlay and back seam.
Hope you liked.

very nice, i don't like the traditional sheaths, but that is just my taste, craft wise they still look very fine.

Thanks for comments, they are not available.

I really like your blade dimensions, like thickness, taper and length. I use my knives for big game dressing and my personal preference is a blade of 100-110 mm. I like a blade that holds an edge, but not so hard that it will chip when you hit bone, like when separating joints, neither so soft that it will dull the edge when hitting the odd bone. The handles should lay well in the hand. I like the brass bolsters. They give a nice finished look and serve as protection of the usually beautifull handle materials. The free swinging sheath will never get in the way when you sit down, like a sheath firmly attached to your belt.
Your Puukkos beg to be baptized by dressing a deer.

Man, I LOVE these! I can't wait for mine to arrive. Not elaborate like these, but one of yours, nonetheless.

Great work my friend !! I cant wait until my surprise Christmas Gift my wife bought me to arrive.. I tend to sell off my knives over time but I never sell a gift knife.

those knives rock! I love puukkos, and you made two very good ones. I especially like the traditional geometry, and the way you handled the tang in the butt cap. nice touch!

Absolutely lovely. I don't care for brass as a material but it seems to be traditional for puukkos and looks great on those.

Thanks for taking time for comments.
Here is new one with shadetree starry night micarta...:)

Dazzling colours! Gorgeous fit and finish. You did a beautifull job with the tang in the but cap.
I also love the brass tang and butt cap.

Wow! Those are just so beautiful. I really love the mix of "new" handle materials with the traditional style.

Lovely, practical pieces. Gives others something to aspire to. Like the blending job with the tang on the back of the bolster.
