I read a lot of reviews on this place and most we're good until after I placed the order and I found the bad reviews. I'll admit...it had me sweating a little while I waited.
My experience was good overall. I placed the order on a Monday night and they shipped it the next day. It was a Pro-Tech TR-5 $250 with tax. Fed Ex says they'll deliver Friday...excellent! Thursday I get a notification they attempted delivery and it failed...they needed an adult signature. What? I can't be home to take delivery! I didn't know it was delivering a day early. I contact Fed-Ex to reschedule delivery?...hold at Fed Ex counter for pick up?...deliver with no signature? Any options? No. Shipper states must have adult signature. No re-routes or re-schedules.
If you order, beware of this.
I called PVK because the shipper is the only one who can make the change. They were no help. The kid on the phone said he'd talk to his manager. In the end, I was able to leave work early Friday and by shear luck caught Fed-Ex on their second attempt to make delivery. They said if I'd not been home they'd have shipped it back to Vegas.
I have the knife and it's perfect. This complaint is not nearly what others have experienced and for the most part it was a success. I got what I ordered quickly. Just beware they require an adult signature and there are no alternate options.
