Does anyone have any comments or thoughts on this company ?

I heard about them a good while back here on bladeforums; also heard some rumblings
that they also "supposedly" got a little flakey, for lack of a better term.

I'm not here trying to bash them; but they have a knife I'm interested in buying & I
just wanted to get some background & opinions before I make a decision.

josh is good people. He doesnt get involved in the petty internet feuds so you will see him carry a wide variety of products from all sorts of makers including some without the greatest reputations. But no worries dealing with PVK.
 
I've been dealing with Josh at PVK for well over ten years, back to the old mailed out catalogs he used to send out. Never had a problem.
 
i've bought from him, a little while back and fairly recently. never an issue, but i did read plenty of disgruntled stories from way back. whatever was wrong back then i think has been fixed, cause it was smooth sailing in my experiences.
 
I got a halo from him not to long ago .. He is active on IG and the Microtech Collectors page so he is around and good to go .. But this has come up a lot lately .
 
I guess there will be mixed reviews spanning years. My last dealings which were a long time ago I had to return a couple of non functioning hubertus Knives and he acted like a child trying to return them. So, I would guess your experiences may vary depending if you have an issue or need a return.
 
I've bought 8 to 10 knives from Josh in the last 3 years. Great guy. I sent one back. His return policy consisted of: "Clint you know my address, just send it back". No 15% restock fee, no bullshit.. I love me some PVK.

That's great, must have just been off his bipolar meds with my order.
