hmm....sounds good but I am a little concerned. I have been sending mails all day and nobody has bothered to answer a single one og them. Should this be a concern?

Sheesh ... ever occur to you that a person could be away from his computer for an entire morning? :rolleyes:

Or maybe he's back already and reading his mail right now, and he'll answer yours as soon as he gets done deleting all the duplicates and emptying his trash....

Couger I see what you mean but I tend to be very demanding. However I believe that they have a problem if you look at KnifeySpoony's post. I am not trying to drag anyone through the mud I am simply trying to find out if PVK is a good company or not....simple as that.

never tried to email him, but every order I have placed, and there have been several, has been quick and painless. Recommended.

Josh is having a problem with his email and internet server.If you go to his sight you can see it is not running right. Shoot him an email through Bladeauction. Josh is a family man and a good man.He has contributed alot to the knife collecting community and deserves our support.He is a one man show and it's real hard to do all the things he's doing by himself. From my experience with Josh, if you really need something, call him. I've called a few times before for some ordering advice and one of the calls turned into more of a conversation about the difference between Canada and USA. I think he's a good guy, but just busy. Keep calling; you'll get a hold of him. :thumbup:

I had a negative experience with him.Making the story short.I paid good money for a couple of knives that quite frankly had crappy fit and finish.They also had defects.He didn't stand behind his full refund policy when I returned them with the explanation.I forgot how much I was charged,but it was around 30.00 or so I lost plus paying to ship the knives back.When I questioned what happend with the refund discrepency,I got a rather rude and obnoxious e-mail from him.There are so many good dealers out there that are professional, to have to deal with someone like Josh imo.

Well at least you can see nothing has changed. He still does not answer e-mails, the only chance how to reach him is to call...

I've ordered knives from Josh in the past,excellent service,but I spoke with him on the phone personally.When I ordered a few knives frequently,he threw in free sheaths and one time he threw in a few extra "bonus" knives.I never had a problem with him,& would definatly call him in the future for a purchase.He's a good guy!
 
I've ordered knives from Josh at least 6-7 times and have always been extremely pleased with the transactions. I've talked to him on the phone several times and he's always been pleasant and informative. I have had emails go unanswered on a couple of occasions but I've always been able to reach him by phone. I would not hesitate to order from PVK.
