I was just thinking about that. I'll have to get all the gear laid out (there's a lot of it in this little pack!) and get some pics. I pretty much cover all the survival priorities with this setup (for moderate climates): Food, water, shelter, fire, first-aid, navigation and signaling.

Admin pouch:

SureFire flashlight
SPOT Satellite Tracking Device
Suunto Ranger style compass

Battery pouch:

4 CR123 spares for SureFire and 4 AA Lithium spares for SPOT, and 4 extra CR123s in a separate holder inside the pouch

First pouch on pack:

AMK Gear Aid pouch (repair gear)
AMK Ultra Light Traveler first aid kit w/ my own surgical pack add-on which includes Lidocaine, needles, syringes, etc)
20 Micropur water tablets
Toothbrush and toothpaste in ziploc
Carmex lip balm

Second pouch on pack:

Small gill net (fist size)
Bottle of Ben's 100 percent DEET
MIOX water purifier
2 Trioxane tabs in ziploc
RAT Survival kit (includes fishing kit, ferro rod, etc.)
DMT Sharpener
Cigarette lighter
Signal mirror
Red Rescue signal laser
Various chem lights and chem signals
Trekker space pen (on lanyard in pack)
Write in the Rain notepad

Main compartment:

Go-Lite mosquito net (with floor)
RC-4P knife
Metal canteen cup
3 dehydrated meals (just add boiling water in the pouch)
50 foot of orange paracord
6 x 8 lightweight sil tarp

Water bottle carrier 1: 32 ounce Nalgene bottle with SteriPen pre-filter attached at top

Water bottle carrier 2: Lightweight Nylon rain poncho

Pack straps (left): Ranger pace count beads

Pack strap (right): rescue whistle, LED micro light.

Bungee cord at bottom of pack: Lightweight multi-mat (sleeping pad)

I just re-weighed it and it comes in at 13 pounds with everything listed above. And I can survive for DAYs AND DAYs on this amount of gear in moderate climates. The only thing I might add once I go bush with this is tie some extra socks on the pack, and, of course my machete.

Have a radio pouch ordered and when it gets here I will put my Garmin 76S GPS in that and put it towards the top of the pack next to the carry / drag handle.

Thanks Jeff, that helps me alot.... need to get you a SS cup to fit the nalgene bottle and it will all ride in netted pocket on side.

Thanks as well norcal. Does anyone know where to get stainless sigg oval canteens with the cup?
Very nice pack, I need to lighten up, average 35lb's for 3 to 5 days.(trailboat and 2 rod's does not help)
