That's the title of my new book, which I just e-published on Amazon (Kindle). It's the end product of about a decade of research, based on accounts of the time, including Buccaneers of America, published in 1685. It's historical fiction, the story of a notorious, and real, late 1600's buccaneer named Bartholomew Portugese. He made an extraordinary escape after he and his crew were captured by a trio of Spanish galleons and taken to Campeche to be hanged. Lots of knife content (or course), including a blade forged from wootz. It also involves buccaneers, slave trading, Henry Morgan, the sack of Panama, the destruction of Port Royale, and plenty of sharp edges. Price is $9.99. Hope you all enjoy it.
