Ok,
I never thought I would ever need to pay attention to all them past topics about how to use leather washers on a knife handle.

Then I decided to use some WhiteTail deer antler for a handle and I learned I need a way to blend the brass guard curves to the unknown curves of the deer antler.

Stacked Leather washers used as a spacer is an idea tossed my way.

OK,,,so how do you guys do that stuff again?

As far as I remember from my reading...

I cut the leather washers to fit, and be a bit oversize.
I dip each washer in 2-Tone epoxy and place on tang.

I know I need to compress the leather washers some how, but how to do that?

from the stuff i remember, to compress it you buy/borrow/fabricate a jig.

i think that some soak it all in water first and compress it then glue it (but i could be wrong)

from what ive seen (and the logical side of my mind) you would need pieces that can press against the pieces from both sides, then clamps to push (ive seen people use 2 clamps, one on each side).

again ive never done this but i looked at it a little bit, doesnt seem to complicated, just gota figure out exactly how to set it up with what you have.
