Q for those who have both UKPI & Urban

The UKPK was one of the most perfect knives I've ever owned EXCEPT that the tip sat MAYBE 1/16th of an inch inside the handle when closed... it just got under my skin, so, traded away it went.

Does the tip of the Urban sit further in the handle than the UKPK when closed? I'm guessing this may differ with the wharny vs the leaf blade... Any info would be appreciated, and THANKS!

Yes it does on the Leaf blade, mine sits about 1/8" down in the handle. Don't have a CLOSED pic, but here is one just for the heck of it.

The tip on the orange Urban is very well covered by the handle, at least 3mm deep

Umm I see what you mean Archie, but I don't see how it's a problem.

Here's some pics of my UKPK, true the blade sits pretty shallow but it isn't exposed at all.
