My reason for asking:
I've been wanting for a long time to try and carve a pattern in a knife handle. Celtic knotwork to be exact...
I'd like to see how hard this process would be, but wouldn't rather ruin a nice new set of scales with my messing about with carving tools, etc...
Plus, I may decide that this endeavor is something I really don't want to undertake!
So, would any of you happen to have any "scrap" or leftover pieces of handle material?
I'm interested in woods, bone, and synthetics (i.e. imitation ivory and the like)
I would gladly pay/pay for shipping on any such material you may have around...
