QTRM5TR B.A. Baracas

I loved my QTR5, and QTR9. I recently traded the 5 off for a spyderco Techno. My QTR9 (#99/300) is up for grabs in the trade section. They are seriously very well built knives though. The QTR5 has one hell of a beefy blade, and the bearing pivot system is wicked. Once the thing locks it feels more like a fixed blade because you can tighten it way down and the bearings still travel as smoothly as silk. Definitley a worthy purchase.
 
The QTR5 will wave without the Ziptie mod. You just have to get a good grab on the front of your pocket when you whip it out.

I was told that was the same with the QTR2 but it didn't work out for me so maybe I'll sell my QTR2 (Texas tea) or trade it for a QTR5
