I just received the 0150.
First impressions of the sheath is, that its utter crap. The knife rattles quite loudly. The clip lacks tension and being plastic, i have no way of bending it. The clip is not reversible, so it cant be carried on the inside of the boot nor inverted. The built in retention tab does not inspire confidence and it feels like i could loose the knife, if the strap was off and it was subjected to a sudden jolt. The button strap works ok and holds the knife in place, so it doesnt rattle that much. The whole thing feels much thicker though than it should have been.
The knife itself is ok. The blade tapers to a thin point and the grinds are even. The scales are grooved width-wise, which should offer some degree of traction. I like the way the scales are flared towards the blade, which can prevent your hand slipping if stabbing and hitting something hard.
Sitting with the 0150 in hand, i kind of regret not saving the money and going for a Bud Nealy instead. Nealys MCS system looks like it would blow any other sheath out of the water. Now i have to decide, if i want to get a custom sheath done for the 0150, because as it is now, theres no way in hell im strapping that to my boot. The other option is to go for the Bud Nealy. Im leaning towards the latter. The ZT aint bad, far from it, but it doesnt really fit what im looking for.
In hindsight i should have followed my own motto "Buy quality, cry once".
