Quality Knife Companies?

I can't give mutch advice on folders , but a good way to tell what companies make the best knives is to look at their warranty . In fixed blade knives Busse , Swamp Rat , Scrap Yard and ESEE all offer a LIFETIME warranty that follows the knife . No purchas slip required . If the knife ever fails they simple give you a new one , even if the knife was abused and used to pry with . To ME , that's the kind of security I want when I'm far from home and running back to the house for another knife is not possible . Look at knifetests.com to see what knives can take hard use .

HOLD MY BEER AND WATCH THIS !

Let´s not forget about my brand :)
Fällkniven AB Sweden, or as you guys say Fallkniven.
We do not believe in life time warranty that´s just another sale trick, it´s just like you say Mike, What´s you gonna do with a broken knife in the woods.
Best regards

Well obviously if it was a Fallkniven I would bring it back home and throw it in the trash. If it was an ESEE or Busse, etc. I would send it in and get a replacement:thumbup:

HAHAHA! :D

PS: For what it's worth, I have never heard anyone accuse Fallkniven of failing to stand behind their products.

I tend to lose knives in the bush, I think I supplied knives to the VC:eek: so I tend to go with what I get in the PX. I do like the new SOG Flash as it is easy to open and sturdy enough for an old soldier. That siad I like the designs by ZT and Jeff Randalls Model 1. I know Jeff, I introduced him to Ayoob but I actually carry the Ontarion version of his Model 1 as I know my history. :o
