Quality knife sighting on final "Survivor"

After all the junk cutlery they've used on this show (a machete that disintegrates on impact, a $5 hatchet/hanner/nail puller combo, etc.) I finally saw a good knife last night. While they were carving the totems, and afterwards pulling down the camp, I spotted an Opinel in use. The handle looked darker than the Opinel I have, but the shape & design was definitely the same. (unless...has anyone actually ripped off the $10 Opinel design??)
 
You're right. I saw it also. It was an Opinal. Good quality for the price! I wish they had used some decent knives. Why not a machete from Ontario Steel, or a K-bar, or even a SAK.

Yep I saw that too. It is kinda neat to see a decent knife in use on TV. If the sheeple of the world only understood...

Until I bought a couple and learned how huge they were, I might have thought that it was a CS Twistmaster. Was anyone else surprised at the size of the large Twistmaster?
