Quality of Blur

@Sticktothedrum, I apologize for my ignorance of the quality of these knives. I would agree, that was quite an assertion on my part, and a wrong on at that.

I guess I didn't realize the immense quality of these knives. I, probably like most people, have associated price, as an indicator of quality. I am now understanding that they offer a lot for the buck.

I will be picking a couple of them up for sure. How long have they made these? Do they regularly build/produce special models? Go figure, I would think that the uber rare brown handled blended blade would catch my eye.

Please help me to understand something. Is S30V not a better steel that CPM154? Why does everybody like the latter?
Thanks for the assistance guys! Now tell me more about the models, and production of these! I am interested, and now want to know much more!

CPM steels are better than the regular because the powder process more equally distributes the composition elements. So CPM154 is better than 154CM. I believe regular 154CM and S30V are pretty comparable.

I have to say I agree with most of the posters. The blur is a great knife. I bought a couple of benchmade 13940s (Harley Davidson version of the 942) and I have to say I like my blurs better. Speedsafe works great and it has a nice, full feeling in the hand.
