You can only pick two which would they be? Which are the most important to you?

Ignore the other locked threads. I have no idea why they kept duplicating. Mod please delete those if possible.

I think everyone would like all three. However, in this survey if one has to be eliminated, price seems most logical. My reasoning is that price more likely will be driven by the market.

I've sold building materials for two manufacturers over the last 42 years. Early on I realized that 'value" had three components - quality, service, and price. I have always thought (and it's proven true many times) that if I have at least two of the components and my competition only has one, then I will prevail in getting the business. I've also always thought you need two of the three at a minimum. OH

Price.
I'll qualify that by saying that obviously, no one likes to throw money away or feel like they've been taken advantage of.
However, while I always hope that I won't be in a situation where I'll need major service on many purchases, not just knife related, the time to think about the quality and ease of service isn't when something unforeseen does happen.

I'm willing to pay extra for the quality of the product (I always buy the best quality I can afford, even if I have to wait, to save enough money to make the purchase).
I'll spend my money with the business that has the best service (in relation to that top quality).
Price - I take my time, do the research, then get the best price possible. This is how I deal with all purchases, knives included.

I only shop at WalMart and Harbor Freight for things when price is more important than quality and don't require service. Usually disposables.

Been burned too many times by companies with "good service" to factor that in strongly. My purchases now are based on the presumption that there is no warranty and I'm on my own for any issues that arise past when it arrives. I go by price and quality of those three.

I vote quality and price.

Service doesn't exist anymore.... Companies rely on minimum wage /foreign service centers to service customers.

Pay people a real wage they might actually care about doing their job, and not leave the first time their kid gets sick and the boss gives 'em crap.

This influences quality too tho. Folks don't care about workmanship when they work all day and make $80.
