• Happy Thanksgiving to all of you! I hope that you all have something to be grateful for this year and for many years to come
  • America has reached 250 years, and I am grateful to be here, in the best country in the world. Thank every one of you who helps make this country a better place, those who have gone before and risked it all, and those who've paid the ultimate price to make the United States what we are today.

Happy Birthday America! Let Freedom Ring for all time!

quality single shot .22 rifle

I am partial to the Marlins with the micro grooves and the CZ scout. I've had both the model 60 and the Papoose, as well as the Scout, and found them to be good little guns, but I prefer a bolt action for simplicity. A couple others you might take a look at is the Remington #5 youth (though not a single shot) and the Mossberg 801 half-pint Plinkster. Both are decent little guns. The #5 is a Zastava (former Yugoslavian company) that has been sold under many US manufactures names like Charles Daly and Remington, and is a decent little .22. You can find the Charles Daly pretty cheap usually and still use the Remington #5 mags in them.

The Rogue River Chipmunk would be a good choice. They're out of production now, but shouldn't be too difficult to find. Nice quality rifles.

Keystone (the Crickett makers) are making them now.
