Trying to spend more quality time with my boys. The oldest wants to build a knife- so here we go!

Took drop point knife style and used a combo of handle styles and length from knives we currently own.

Awesome! I can't wait until my son is old enough to be able to pursue any interest he has in daddy's hobby.

That's good clean fun! I also salute you for getting him used to good safety practices right off the bat :)

A great start on what will is a great shape for a hunting knife. I sure enjoyed all the time two of my grandsons spent with me making a couple of carbon steel straight knives. They were about that age. They are now both over 23 and still carry those knives with them when they go hunting. They lived only a block away for me and would come to the shop when they saw me there. I't was a super time for me as it has to be for you !!! Frank

I managed to get mine done and really like this knife. Definitely gonna make more!
