Quality travel knives. Recommendations.

For travelling, I would bring along an opinel no8. Its an unassuming pocket knife and usually customs dont have any issues with it since its just mundane looking. Been to Bali, Sri Lanka, Thailand, UK without any issues. Furthermore if there was any issues with it, I won't be that upset if it was confiscated. Get the version with the inox blade. Cheap and cheerful, however it does not have a pocket clip but it does spot a lanyard fob.

Here is what I carry: 1] A Spyderco Cat. It is a very good knife and not a lot of money. Its blade length is legal in most places. Those are three advantages. 2] A Victorinox Cadet. Most people look at this like a friendly tool, rather than a knife and it is very slim. 3] A Spyderco Pingo.

Travel how? On the road? Then multitool.
Travel as in vacation? Swiss army knife.
Very likely you wont need it so throw it in your bag.
