I just got this about a week ago. It has not cut a thing. I did take the clip off, and the latch, and applied purple thread lock to all screws.
There is a mark in the finish on the handle from the clip, which I suppose is inevitable. There is one or two other marks in the finish that were there from the manufacturer.
One thing to note is that when tightening one of the screws back up after I applied the thread lock, I stripped one of the screws. I have contacted Quartermaster but they have not responded. It would be an easy fix if you can get the screw from them.
The knife comes with the box, card and trainer blade.
