Oh, brief me in on the bad history if you have time.

The history is that Quartermaster is known to import their knives, although they claim on their website that the knives are made in the US.

I do not have a bias against Chinese-made knives. I have a bias against somebody lying to me.

I put a Qrtrm5ster sticker on my car and it gained 35 HP.

Test it in a wind tunnel. You’ll see that not only is it higher speed, it’s lower drag.

It should also be noted that Knifecenter is happy to continue telling its customers that these things are USA made. BladeHQ and GPKnives had the integrity to stop that practice when the evidence could no longer be ignored.

It’s definatly a counterfeit.
The real Biff Tannen has numbering on the blades (”245/300” for example) and the grind on the original is in two different sections.

But the fakes cost ca 20-30$.
I will definatly pick one up just for fun to see how it feels.
The funny things is: with all the accusations of QRTRMSTR being made in China... I bet these fakes are real quartermasters from the same factoru - but they managed to find their way out the backdoor by some workers.

Would be fun if someone who owns a real Biff Tannen picked up a fake one just for comparison! Would bring some proof to the whole China-made accusation.

Just look at the blade closely and the screws holding it together compared with the real versions. Pretty obvious fake.
