Hello dear friends,
With God's good will today i present you a one off luxury folder - 'Quasar' - a solid full size titanium frame lock with an sleek, classy and luxurious look.
Built around a titanium 'core' this folder is a gorgeous cutter and a great looker.
An aluminium/vanadium alloy, Grade 5 TA6V titanium offers an excellent compromise between mechanical strength, toughness and ductility hence it was the choice for the frame of the folder.
The detent ball is high quality ceramic for an ever lasting smooth action without deformations.
All screws are precision machined blackened/stainless steel, the stop and pivot pins are hardened, precision ground 400c stainless steel so no wear in there even after prolonged years of use.
The blade slides on skeletonized phosphorous bronze washers with 'grease pockets'.
The blade is made using the high carbon W2 tool steel at 63 hrc (beware it is not rustproof but you know me - i am the carbon steel guy
), with a high flat grind, a subtle but nice hamon and a buffed finish to match the overall theme. The blade comes razor sharp and is correctly centered.
'Quasar' features on short:
- very light and yet very strong.

- bronze bushing for an even smoother action.
- Grade 5 TA6V titanium - glossy finish.
- Gold FAT carbon inlay (milled pocket)
- our 'nebula' custom anodizing on bolster.
- high quality ceramic detent ball.
- skeletonized phosphorous bronze washers with 'grease pockets' (these will keep the support surface area intact while minimize friction).
- body screws are precision machined blackened/stainless steel.
- the stop and pivot pins are hardened, precision ground 400c stainless steel.
- custom one off 'Quasar' thumb stud with gold FAT carbon inlay and doomed head.
This is most probably the last of this design as we'll focus more on 'Skiagusta' and 'Murder Hornet' this year so if you like it this is the time

The price for this 'Quasar' is - SOLD (express shipping included) - on request, a milled solid carbon fiber 'tip up' pocket clip can be added.
The knife will be available here for sale for 2-3 days and then will be sent to AZCK.
