Queen canoes?

Great Canoe, JA, probably the best currently made Canoe on the planet! Of course I've got one, and everyone is saying "there he goes again ranting about those canoes", but you can't deny the truth!! They fit the pocket with no barbs sticking out, have venerable, stainable, sharpenable blades, and that redbone is SWEEEEEEET! Nice choice!

Here's a Cocabola handled Queen Canoe I got recently from Cumberlandknifeworks. 1095 steel, pretty wood scales. Queen switched to birdseye maple this year for this knife, so I thought I'd better get one, in case they don't produce them again in Cocabola.
I really like wood handled knives; they feel and look good. Probably not good for skinning; too slippery, but wonderful in the pocket for EDC. A nice alternative to bone and mellow yellow:D !

Thanks guys, I appreciate y'all chipping in and encouraging me to get this canoe. They just feel so good in the pocket.

I think my next slipjoint purchase is gonna be an Eye Brand canoe with stag handles. There are a few of them out there, and I have a real fondness for the Eye Brand/Schlieper knives.

Waynorth, that Cocobolo Canoe is actually D2 not 1095 (I only WISH they were 1095). Youll find out when you try to sharpen it lol. I have an EDC canoe in the D2 and Birds Eye and its real nice.

I was confused by the "tool steel" etch on the blade! Of course, D2 is tool steel!
You don't do your homework, and it bites your butt; thanks for straightening me out. Embarrassed or what:o
